Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC)

HVAC provides instruction for entry-level technicians. Students are given instruction for the installation and service of residential and light commercial equipment. Students complete hands-on training on equipment installed in the lab as well as on trainers manufactured by Amatrol. This 180-hour program covers the core skills needed for entry-level employment in the HVAC field. The course includes safety instruction, the use of hand and power tools, and hands-on learning with state-of-the-art equipment in a complete lab environment. Instruction includes soldering and brazing tech-niques and installation procedures for typical residential heating and air conditioning systems. Students will have the opportunity to earn industry credentials including the OSHA 10 Hour Safety Card and EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification.

***REFUND POLICY: With notification of cancellation from the student 24 hours prior to the start of class, tuition will be refunded minus the application fee. After start of class there is a no refund policy.***

***CANCELLATION POLICY: Courses and workshops are subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment is not attained. In such cases, the student will receive a full refund, and he/she will be notified by phone at least 24 hours prior to the start of class.
