Official Vehicle Safety Inspection Training

LCTI offers a PA state mandated training program and test required for technicians to receive their state inspection license. Applicant must complete the lecture course, pass a written test and satisfactorily per-form a complete inspection of a vehicle. Upon successful completion of these requirements, the appli-cant will receive a safety inspection certification card in approximately six to eight weeks from the end-ing class date. An optional three hour tools class that provides hands-on use of measuring tools used for the state inspection is also available.


Applicant must be 18 years of age and have a valid operator's license for each class vehicle he/she intends to inspect.

***REFUND POLICY: With notification of cancellation from the student 24 hours prior to the start of class, tuition will be refunded minus the credit card processing fees . After start of class there is a no refund policy.***

***CANCELLATION POLICY: Courses and workshops are subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment is not attained. In such cases, the student will receive a full refund, and he/she will be notified by phone at least 24 hours prior to the start of class.***
