GAS TUNGSTEN ARC WELDING (TIG)

This course covers the fundamentals of the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) process: including safety, and machine set-up/operation. Students will practice making fillet and groove welds in various positions on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Instruction includes material identification and properties of metals. Students will also receive instruction in preparing materials for welding using plasma cutting machines, angle grinders, and other metalworking equipment.

***CANCELLATION POLICY: Courses and workshops are subject to cancellation if the minimum enrollment is not attained. In such cases, the student will receive a full refund, and he/she will be notified by phone at least 24 hours prior to the start of class.
